Leadership Team


Thomas J. Bardin, M.S., CAS, BCBA

Owner, Behavior Analyst

After attending Clemson University where he attained a degree in psychology, Thomas began working in a clinic for individuals with autism in 2011, providing line and lead ABA therapy to children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. During this time, he also gained valuable experience providing ABA to individuals in the home enviornment, residential settings, schools, the community, and assisted living environments. Thomas completed his post-graduate coursework in applied behavior analysis at Clemson University and the Florida Institute of Technology and earned his Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in 2017. 

Thomas has been a member of the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts and a full member of the South Carolina Association for Behavior Analysis since 2012, and the North Carolina Association for Behavior Analysis since 2018. 

Suzanne Moore, M.A., BCBA

Clinical Director

Suzanne Moore M.A., BCBA is the Clinical Director of Bardin Behavioral Health LLC. Suzanne has over 11 years of experience of applying the principles of behavior analysis to teach and assist individuals with disabilities ranging from ages 2-97. She obtained a Masters in Special Education with Certificates in both Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism from Ball State University.

Suzanne is currently pursuing her doctorate in special education from the University of South Carolina.  Suzanne has worked in a variety of settings including: clinical, home, community, residential, and vocational settings. Suzanne has extensive experience working with individuals with autism as well as individuals with co-morbid diagnosis ranging from Prader Willi Syndrome to psychiatric diagnosis and intellectual disabilities. Above all else, she is dedicated to providing dignified, ethical, and effective family centered ABA to all her clients.

Kaitlyn Greer, M.A., BCBA

Supervising BCBA

Kaitlyn graduated from University of North Texas with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies in 2016 before entering the field of ABA as a registered behavior technician at an ABA clinic specializing in early intervention. During her time as an RBT, Kaitlyn obtained a Masters from Ball State University in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism and subsequently earned her BCBA certification. She joined the BBH team in September 2022. 

 In addition to extensive experience working with individuals who have Autism, Kaitlyn has worked with individuals who have co-morbid conditions including ADHD, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, and intellectual disabilities. Kaitlyn is dedicated to providing effective, ethical, and highly individualized ABA for each of her clients.

 


Behavior Technicians 


Frances Layton RBT

Frances Layton started at Bardin Behavioral Health in June 2022. Frances received her undergraduate degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Carolina. She has over 8 years of experience as a behavior technician, providing services in home, community, school, and clinical settings. Her skill at teaching verbal behavior and reducing challenging behaviors is awe inspiring and the parents of the kids she works with have confirmed the positive impact of her therapy. 

Emilie Laurendeau RBT

Emilie graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in Criminal Justice and Counseling in May of this year.  She is currently pursuing a graduate degree from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Emilie, a New Hampshire native, made Columbia, SC her second home while an undergraduate at USC, where she was a Mental Health Ambassador and member of the American Sign Language Club and Alpha Xi Delta sorority.  Emilie has been an RBT at Bardin Behavioral Health since the spring of 2022 and has experience and exceptional skill providing therapy to a variety of age groups and adapting her therapy to meet the unique needs of each client.

Grace DiGiacomo RBT

Grace DiGiacomo joined our team in January 2023. She is currently an undergraduate at the University of South Carolina where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. In addition to her academic pursuits in Columbia, SC, Grace represents Student Health Services as a mental health ambassador where she advocates to reduce the stigma of mental health by sharing her personal story and university resources. Grace is dedicated to making sure her peers, clients, and their families feel heard and supported and we are thrilled to have her on our team, delivering exceptional ABA therapy to everyone she works with.
